I had the most wonderful time shooting this wedding for my new friends, Sarah and Luis. These 2 were an absolute dream to work with, and they both had awesome attitudes throughout the entire day. Here in Arizona we don’t get much rain, so when you see it about to rain on your wedding day it can be pretty disheartening. But Sarah and Luis kept an upbeat spirit and were pretty adamant that it would go well, and low and behold, it was AMAZING! I hope you all enjoy their story.
Again I want to say what a pleasure it is to work alongside some of the best vendors in the area. Stephanie Fay Photography are hands down the best photographers in the valley and are always a great tag-team to partner with. Amina from Some Like it Classic handled the day like a pro, even with the rain situation. Florals were done by none other than Wendell Florist; and of course, a special thanks to Paradise Valley Country Club. Now, onto the show!!
Check out Stephanie’s Blog for some great pictures that captured the day!

A few weekends ago I had the great privilege to film and be a part of my friend Gabriela’s and Christopher’s amazing wedding. This was such a classy even I Couldn’t help but feel under-dressed for it
But in all seriousness, I had such a great time and I was so at home with these 2. I immediately fell in love with their encouragement for each other and obvious love for each other and Christ. Their details were partially handmade and the cake was WONDERFUL. Working alongside my insanely talented sister, Caroline Ghetes and her bearded helpmate was also a great time, as usual. I hope you all enjoy!

Hey Guys!
Recently I have been working on a promotional video for a Phoenix based company, Church Technologies. These guys are a design build consultants for new churches, and help with anything from audio/visual to strength of ministry to finances. I have had such a great time filming and working with them as they travel around the US to places like Philly, Chattanooga, and Rochester. Here is a sneak peak of what to expect!

And FYI, my sister, North Carolina Wedding Photographer Caroline Ghetes, shot some amazing pictures of the wedding. Head over to her blog (if you haven’t done so) and show her some love!

(Excerpt from Brooke and Chris’ Story)
Chris came home for Christmas from being stationed in Illinois at the time and a couple days before Christmas he told me to get dressed up so we could go out. He wore his dress blues (which he’ll be wearing in the wedding) and he drove us to downtown Charlotte to a restaurant called LaVecchia’s Steak and Seafood. We got there and had PRIVATE reservations in the back room all to ourselves. There was a custom menu that Chris had made with the head chef (who I later learned was one of his good friends). We were given wine and with each course, the head chef came out and explained how he made it and what it was. After the third course, Chris stood up and I thought he was going to the bathroom but he came to my side of the table and proposed! I said yes of course and put the ring on. Then we had cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious. We still talk about how good it was. After that, we went to Chris’s mom’s house and my house to tell everyone the news but of course they already knew. After that he took me to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 which we waited months to see together since we were long distance. It was a really great night!
