This past weekend I had the AMAZINGĀ privilegeĀ of filming the wedding of Rachel and Bri in Costa Mesa. These 2 were surrounded by loving family throughout the entire day and this kept it very fun and light. Rachel and Bri had an amazing sense of humor and that was really apparent throughout the entire day. The Yardley family reminded me much of my wife’s family, large and very very close. Oh, and they shared the same sense of humor as the bride and groom! They were supporting Bri and Rachel throughout the entire day in whatever ways they could, and that was awesome! I was most impressed by their love for each other and even more importantly their love for Jesus Christ. I am so happy to share their story with you here, and I sincerely hope you enjoy it .
Here is their proposal story (in Rachel’s narrative), for those who have not heard it yet:
“We were in Florida at the beach taking a walk. Bri suggested we go to the other side which was less windy. He surprised me by having a little boat tied up to a dock. We got in and he handed me a bouquet of flowers. He took me to a private island. He surprised me by having a beautiful picnic and several bouquets of roses hidden there on the island. We ate the snacks and he got down on both knees and read me several pages of sweet things.
The ring he proposed with was his grandmother’s diamond in a new setting that he let me choose. We got back in the boat and went back to the main beach to watch the sunset. We then went out to a place kinda like Beni Hanna’s where they cook the food in front of you. A perfect night! Good job, Bri!”
